It looks for reinforcement, embedded services and other features inside the concrete so a cut or a core can be positioned away from them, or moved before work starts. A scan informs that decision. It does not authorise the cut on its own, and the result still has to be read alongside your drawings, your structural advice and your site's own controls. ## Scope the scan around the penetrations The most useful thing to send is the penetrations themselves.
